What time do you wake up for work

And how long does it give you to arrive on time?
I wake up at 6am and I have to be there at 7. Works about 40min away so I have 20min to get up and leave.

I live, with traffic, at most, 30 minutes from class, and I arise two hours before start. That gives me time to shower, shave, watch a few minutes of the morning news, either make coffee or go to Starbucks and still have time to take it easy walking across campus.
When I lived in Biloxi I had work at 4:00 am and I set my alarm for 1:20- this gave me time to exercise/jog, shower, shave, get dressed, and get to work about a half-hour early. In almost six years of the graveyard shift I wasn't late a single time.

With enough time to drive from your mom's place if she happens to answer my booty call

Whenever I damn well please. Most times anyway. Beauty of self-employment. I have to get up before 10am MAYBE 3 times a month. But, I stay up pretty damn late.

6am
I like getting a morning jog in and I hate feeling rushed in the morning.

Worst job:
Wake up at 4:35. Get into work at 4:45. 6 minute drive
Last Job:
5:15 AM. Must leave by 6:15 to get there by 6:45.
This job:
I have no fricking idea. I don't have a car so I walk/subway to work. Assuming I get in at 8(a big if, I usually get in at 8:15) I have to leave for work at some point around 7:20. Sometimes this is enough. Sometimes the train is too late or too early and I have to wait no matter what. Sometimes I get stuck at a bunch of red lights at crosswalks. I've gotten about a 20 minute variation on both ways.
But what time do I need to get up? That's a tough question. I have a hard time here waking up so I usually set my alarm to blare over a 4 hour period but I really need to be up by 7 to get in by 8.

Wake up at 4:30am. I'm at work and hour later (25 minute commute).

6:30am and I have to be there around 8am.
Commute in the morning is about 20 minutes or so but going home is 45 minutes if I left at 5pm, so I go workout to wait. New house drops both of those down to 15 minutes tops each way.
What really sucks is that still increases my commute by about 10,000% as I worked from home the last 5 years and woke up whenever I pleased to work whenever I pleased.

Alarm 6:45 and work at 7:45. The parking garage downtown at 4:30 is the worst so I go in 15 minutes early to leave at 4:15. It makes all the difference in the world.

Gotta be at work at 6 PM. Work till roughly 7 am. Watch my son during the day. So snag about an hour of sleep before he wakes up in AM and 2 or 3 during his nap around noon.

About 8, roll out of bed about 9, drink some coffee, shower and shave, get to the office about 10am.
ETA: Ya'll are some crazy bastards. Most of you get up when it's still dark out. That's against God and Nature!

Wake up at 3:45. Have to be at work at 7:30. Gives me time for the gym, a few cups of coffee, 20 minutes of news, and helping get kids ready for school and drop off.
