They certainly don't appear to be a pushover type of team

I think LSU comes ready to play but sometimes the emotions can backfire. We'll have to see.

Mizzou qb Lock can spin it. They wont be able to push around LSU but they will score through the air. I have no clue what LSU is going to do on offense. I'd imagine several screens and quick slants with healthy dose of guice brossette and williams. Should be fun.

Yes. I don't think we hold them to just field goals. I'd say it's 50-50

They will surprise people. I could see them winning if this game was at mizzou. It'll be close

Dont worry... his curses are basically pointless now. They hold no value.

Their offense is pretty solid, but their defense doesn't scare me too much. Fortunately, I'm sure Biracial Dave will have his D ready to shut these jokers down.

Mizzou will throw the kitchen sink at us. In the end, I think we put together a great game.

From a Mizzou fan's perspective... This is actually the opposite of what we expected this year. We expected a very strong, bordering on elite, defense based on what we had returning; our questions were primarily on offense. Four games in, our new OC has done wonders with the offense. They are young and not very experienced, but are doing incredibly well. So far, the OL has only allowed 1 sack i believe, and we have 6 different receivers with 100+ yard games. They play very fast, and the tempo can tire out a defense if our O dictates the pace of the game. They are way ahead of where I, and many other fans, expected them to be.

Defense has been a little different. We lost 2 linemen before the season started - though if there was a place we were deep it was the DL. We brought back most of last year's starters. They implemented a new scheme and it resulted in a slow start. But they've started to turn that corner, appear more comfortable with the scheme, and look better every week. We have at least 3 DL who will be playing on Sundays, and the SEC's leader in career tackles leads the LBs. They are getting closer to last season's form, which bodes well for us as the season goes on - it's just been a slow start, not indicative of the talent. They are very capable of going off and giving an offense fits.

If I was Coach O, I'd shut down the run (not difficult, it's the weaker part of our offense), pressure Lock and try to force bad throws, and try to take advantage of the talented but very young and inexperienced receivers. On offense, Mizzou is going to try and force Etling to beat us with your passing game. Focus on the mid-range passing game to take advantage of our relatively inexperienced safeties.

Looking forward to a good game!

Sounds sensible. Good analysis. That isn't allowed here. You should just ban yourself posting stuff like that!
