re: Am I the only one that thinks Ken Crawley will be an elite corner next year

He hasn't played a down in his career without playing on a "bad ankle" or "bad calf" They say this every week about him.
Very true. He played through ailments going back to college as well no shocker there.
the last 2 years he's posted his best seasons against the Saints:
2014: 7-116 Game 1 and 7-107 Game 2
2015: 6-93 Game 1 and 9-149 Game 2
he's also fumbled against the Saints three times in his career all were recovered by the Saints, the first one being returned for a TD in the 2011 blowout win at home.
it was mainly the Saints LB's who had bad nights if I had to guess. The ATL RB's gained more yards than anybody else for them. Freeman had the longest run that went 48 yards and Coleman had the longest receiving play at 34 yards.
but Julio was the most targeted WR of course so good job by Crawley.

This may not be popular opinion, but I think he will be a top 15 guy. Corner is the second hardest position to transition to and he has constantly been in position. In game 6 of this season, he makes a play on that ball to Cruz.
Given a season under his belt, he will be starting next year alongside Breaux.

Pessimistic view: he shut down Julio cause he was hobbled and they had a lead all night and they didn't need him. Freeman vs. our front seven was option 1 and they never needed to go past that.

In my opinion it's hard to judge CBs when atlantas pussy arse QB would hardly ever throw a pass that was further than 10 yards downfield
I hate Matty Checkdown

For a rookie UFA, yes, he's actually not bad at all. He's not getting burned, he keeps pretty good position, he needs some work on the finer points of playing an NFL CB

It's early into the season but He looks very good as does Lattimore. Hopefully both can become quality fixtures in the secondary for years to come.
