Going to Austin and looking for new cool/high end food. Last time I went to Lenoir and Odd Duck, both great. Any other recs?

I'll post something later but you should google search old threads. There are at least 1 or 2 every month.

Everyone gonna tell you Torchy's for tacos.

I liked Freedmen's for BBQ as it is open at night and has a bar unlike some of the others.

I second Barley Swine. Just had an anniversary dinner there 2 weeks ago on the recondition of another poster. We had the chefs tasting at the chefs counter. Amazing experience. 10 course meal. Overlooking the kitchen which is amazing to watch. Great cocktails and wine list.

Lots of great suggestions. I'll add Ranch 616. I had the Ribeye over enchiladas, bacon wrapped shrimp, Ranch Water, and a Fire in the Hole shot last weekend. All were excellent.
