I sell medical devices implanted in the cardiology cath lab and cardiologists and nurses refer to patients who have "Smoker" listed on their patient charts as having "flunked the intelligence test". Many people are having angioplasties and stents deployed as a result of being habitual smokers. People who are educated and know the dangers of smoking yet smoke anyway are fools. And no, no smoker has ever looked cool doing so. As a matter of fact, I think men that smoke look feminine.

i realize this is anecdotal, but i don't smoke cigs and have tons of internet friends so there's pretty much no correlation between smoking and being cool.
