When will Miles name the starting QB?

Knowing him he will not name a starter and Harris will be starting Saturday. I hope I am wrong.

I'm not sure there's any benefit to naming a starter publicly. Especially with the SEC schedule starting. I'm sure the team will know, but no sense telling Mississippi State.

He won't and that's the right call. You'll know when Mississippi State knows, as LSU takes their first offensive snap. Why would he help the opposition's preparation for the game?

I fully expect no starter to be named before game time just to make MSU game plan for both. Harris has had a game and a qtr to make his case and he did not do it. Miles will be ripped to shreds in the media if he starts Harris after this past game.

He probably won't make MSU prepare for both. Of course there's not much to prepare for when it's the same shite for the last 5 years.

why not go with a 2 QB system with QB's alternating every series? Would give Harris a chance to see if he can bring to the game what he is apparently bringing to practice and give Etling a chance to get up to SEC speed. Would benefit both to be able to collect their nerves between series and get another perspective from watching what is going on the field.
