It's time LSU create a timely plan of exit. It can be done, but I doubt they will.

due to the river cutting off a whole side of campus, there will always be pretty bad traffic there after games.

major road work would seem to be stupid for only 6 or 7 nights per year...

For us they key has been to avoid certain roads. We used to park in the hayfield, but RR was always a cluster. If you can find a way to park on either Burbank or Nicholson and get to Burbank, you can escape. We parked at south gate towers, turned left onto Nicholson, cut across Jennifer jean and turned right on Burbank. It was smooth sailing.

Wrong

Upgrades to Dalrymple, and Nicholson could help traffic 24/7 365 days a year.

Maybe on that side of campus it was bad.

I made it from the Law School parking area onto interstate in 13 minutes; to Siegel Lane in 17.

^^ It's brought up every year and nothing is done. When you have 100k of people leaving and area and the feeder roads leaving campus are on the normal 25 second light cycle it begins to compound and compound until the entire area is gridlocked.

It's like trying to drain a pool in 2 hours when you're only allowed to drain every other minute.

Highlight of the night was the numbnuts driving against contraflow on E. Lakeshore. He was in a white SUV, so we, and I assume everybody else thought he was a cop and let him through, but he was just some random douchebag. I'd like to see what happened when he got to the checkpoint by Miller Dorm.

Been having games there for 100 years and change up traffic routes from game to game. You think you have it figured out and next week sit for 2 hours.

After big games we have a postgame tailgate. I don't know why more people don't do this. It beats sitting motionless in your vehicle wasting gas.

I left from the golf course parking and went down 30 all the way to I10, traffic wasn't bad at all.

Stayed the whole game, was actually the last people to get in the elevator in the West Upper. Game ended at 10:40. I walked in my door in Gretna at 12:45. Parked in lot 403. Took Burbank to Highland. I take that way home every game and traffic flow was better last night than it's ever been.

That's how it was last year. The stupid no turn left for 5 miles causes it. You have to go in the wrong direction then U turn it.

Maybe people don't want to drive home drunk?

Main reason I gave up my season tickets and now watch from home. Traffic after games is just stupid

Funny, I thought traffic was light. Stayed til 0:00, walked to the car (parked at Mellow Mushroom) and was home in 10 minutes. It's 20 minutes to my house from that same spot any weekday at 5:00-5:30.

But there's not enough money in the world to get me to park in the Hayfield lot.
