Someone needs to open a Korean BBQ in the BR area

STAT! Would be extremely successful I think. Sort of like the Melting Pot concept but Korean food. "Experience" eating is booming.

Wouldn't work. BR is too transfixed with its myriad of sushi and burger joints.

I agree completely. I don't know if it would work, but I'd eat the hell out of it until it closes because the rest of Baton Rouge goes to Outback.
Smart money would just open three locations at once to ensure that Baton Rouge embraces the idea.

Where is the best Korean BBQ in New Orleans. I wanna try it soon.

it would be awesome but why wouldn't you want to just cook all this at home. The point of eating out is convenience.

#2 is the busiest table I've ever seen.

Pretty common in Korea. All the side dishes aka Ban Chan.

The best locations for finding good Korean BBQ are usually right outside the gates of military bases. Baton Rouge doesn't have any, nor does it have a vibrant Korean community.
The best Korean restaurants I have experienced outside of Korea were in L.A. Keep that in mind if you ever find yourself there.

There are no great places, but your best bet is Little Korea on Magazine.

The ingredient shopping, prep work, and clean up, ie the parts I hate doing, are done for you. I like the actual cooking part so I would love to see this in BR.

There used to be an Ethiopian Joint in the ghetto north of LSU on Highland. It closed several years back.

Korea House is fantastic. Dumpy space, but the food, especially the ban chan are really good.
