If a coaching change is made, what type of offense would you like to see?

I am not really crazy about a Texas Tech or Baylor style of offense, but anything different would be better right about now. My vision is for LSU to have an offense similar to the Seattle Seahawks. Everything revolves around a powerful running game, some read option, and the play action pass. No, not LSU's current play action, max protect, 2 receiver route combos. What would you like our offense to look like?

One which doesn't pound the ball into a wall

What we have (meaning our running game. I like that, seeing rb's run over defenders) but with an actual passing game. Can't be one dimensional. Some ingenuity, creativity on offense.

I don't mind a pro style offense at all.
I just want to see an offense that puts the panthers in a position to succeed.
One that has logical play calls that stress the defense and make them have to think about their assignments and tries to exploit mismatches.

One that actually tries to exploit defensive weaknesses. One that doesn't takes the moronic fricking attitude that execution is ALL that matters
I mean i have preferences for approach, buy I really DGAF as long as it satisfies the above two realities.

Something that provides a chance of success for the LSU offense and players.

One that utilizes the talent it contains. Doesn't have to be that special. It will have to be tweaked and varied occasionally as defenses adjust.

Any offense but this one. We literally have the most bland offense in the entire country.

I agree. I'm just sick of hearing people call LSU's offense "pro style", because it doesn't resemble anything close to a pro style.

One in which I'm no longer pleasantly surprised when the QB throws it and the WR actually catches it.

You said you don't want a Baylor type offense, yet you literally described your Baylor's offense when you talked about your ideal offense.

I would like to use the player called a Tight End and see if he can use his hands to catch instead of just block people.

If I had my pick, a West Coast offense. Tough to stop a good running game that also makes use of TEs and FBs in the passing game. Slants, slant-and-go, and back-shoulder stop-routes to the wideouts. Lots of motion to create pre-snap mismatches.

Ideally, I'd like to see us running the Urban Meyer spread.

There's about 120 college teams with a better offense than LSU. Any of those would be an improvement.

One that moves the ball, sustains drives and puts points on the board... However that happens.

I loved LSU's 2007 offense. Was inventive, spread the defense out, but still featured power running.

You only need to change 3 things
1) Offensive line production
2) Better QB play / Open up the passing game
3) Fire our current special teams coach

Baylor's offense is nothing like the Seattle Seahawks.

How about an offense that prepares differently to exploit each opponent's weaknesses separately.
