I do find it challenging to get kills on this game, but I guess I need to get use to it a little more.
What class have you been running?

It's a little bullet sponge-y.
I haven't thought so. Not any more than other BF games. The medic rifle is a 4 body hit kill or two headshot kill. Snipers are two body shots, one head shot. Haven't used the machine guns much, but make sure you pay attention to the damage drop off on the guns, that will make a big difference if you aren't close enough.

Does BF have a hardcore/SWAT mode?
Yes

Mainly Assault and Scout

If you're playing scout, just make sure you stick to cover and pick people off. BF really does reward you for playing your class like you're supposed to. It isn't one that you can be a sniper and still just run into combat and be fine.
For Assault, unless it is real close range, burst fire is your friend. Give the medic class a try too. The starting rifle can be fired fully auto or single shot (hit down on d-pad to switch). It is a four body hit kill within a generous range. I've been able to do some real damage with it. Gives you some more range than the assault class, but still able to hold your own in close quarters. Plus the med packs are key.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

Is anyone else having problems with the spotter button? Sometime I can spot and other time no. I'm on Xbox.
Posted on 9/2/16 at 3:10 pm to ThuperThumpin
It has been a lot more precise than in previous versions. I've had to have my iron sight directly on someone for it to spot them, like dead center. Then it works fine, even from range.
The spotter sight the scout class has is very useful.

I'm like level 16 now but my class upgrades aren't improving. Pretty much don't have anything left to buy until they fix that.

Hai Brannen
Holy shite there's some tards playing this game. I've seen so many bombers get raped by tanks that its not even funny anymore...
And I wonder how PETA feels about this game. Used my horse for cover to escape and Mr. Ed was shot to shite

Logged a lot of hours of the long weekend. This is the first Beta Ive ever played in. Do they let you keep your progress when the full version comes out?
Posted on 9/6/16 at 8:25 am to rugbyag
Generally, you do not carry over beta progress into the full game. I think that is the case here as well.

I've had some awesome runs in the light tank. Started 30 - 0 several times. I also really like the medic class. Not much love for the Assault / Support class.

Medic is my go to if I'm not doing recon for my squad. We usually have a guy that goes solely medic, so if he isn't on, I'll do it instead. Not a big fan of the other rifles besides the starting one though.
I had some good runs over the weekend with support though. Held down C almost by myself a good bit. Just stayed in one of the buildings, had tripwires guarding both entrances to where I was, ammo crate and anti-tank grenades. Fun times. Had a couple 25+ kill games that way.

I can't remember which rifle (maybe the factory automatic?) but it's my go-to. Good medium range gun.

Man I'm so sick of this desert map
Can't wait for the full game. Because I hate the sandstorms/heavy fog.. which is precisely why I despised Gulf of Oman on BF4. Still a fun arse game and I preordered once I figured things out. I've been doing really well bouncing around from the heavy tank to a plane (any plane but the bomber). I haven't decided on my favorite class becauss my favorite class is map specific. I find this game to be very well balanced so far.
Rush is so badass. I feel like that's where we're going to see a lot of trench warfare. Or atleast we should. If not, that's poo

Realllyyy don't like the map. Maps were my only concern for the game. Seems as if everything happens between C and F flag I think. To many flags in BFE with not enough cover. It's hard to not just grab a sniper and wait with so much open space between flags and that hurts because shitty snipers have always been an issue with BF. Everything else is wonderful. I think the gun play is extremely well. Obviously needs a few little tweaks in some other areas.

It's a beta. We haven't even scratched the surface.

Did they fix this client side bullshite yet?
I saw a video on Youtube of two guys playing in the same server, one was in a sand storm and the other wasn't... Explains why I can get picked off by a sniper in a sandstorm and never see the fricker.
