The fall is IPA season. There is a period during the winter where IPA season is overlapped by stout season. Then it becomes just IPA season again.
I was about to say...isnt it always IPA season?

Fall= Oktoberfest beers, porters, and DIPAs.

If you are interested in pumpkin beers, Elysian has some good ones.
I enjoy pumpkin beers for the first sip or two, and then they get tiring. I will usually ask for a sample of one or two of them when they are on tap at wherever I'm having a pint. The samples are usually enough for me.

A few years ago this board was chocked full of guys lining up at Spec's and chasing Pumpkinator all over town. One year, I think they had a countdown thread. The pumpkin honeymoon just recently ended.

I just want it to get cold enough so I can drink (eat) some Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout on a the regular.

Oregon weather may suck in the winter, but it definitely is suited for drinking stouts in front of the fireplace.

I am with you there. It's always in 70s inside but nothing beats a good stout while grilling or watching the smoker work.

BottomlandBrew...where you get that?
I'm in Nashville, but most of the stores around here carry it. I think Blackberry Farms distributes fairly wide. I think I've seen some LA krewe members post about it being available down there.

Loved the Stone Americano Imperial Stout that came out last Fall. Can't wait to try that one again. Also, Sam Adams Octoberfest is already on the shelves. It's a nice beer.

I could live on those for the next 6 months.....List, how much pumkinator do you have? I'd be willing to buy or trade for.

I am sure I am doing it wrong, but I don't want different beers due to the season. Hell, I hate it that Summer Pils is a summer beer. It should be Year Round Pils.

Man I dont care what anyone says, drinking Pumking or any other good pumpkin beer outside on a perfect weather day as the leaves change in East Tennessee is one of my favorite things to do.

I usually buy a 6 pack of some random Oktoberfest and end up throwing away about 4 around January.

I love a good Oktoberfest. I think Sam Adams is my favorite

Same here. I always look forward to the Oktoberfests. Means it's getting cooler, drinking outside, and not sweating.
Eta...definitely don't drink exotic ones, Sam Adam, St. Arnold, and Sierra Nevada all taste good to me.
