Mahmoud abdul raouf suspended right after his stunt by the NBA. They forced him to stand and bow his head.
The NFL fined Ryan Clark $5000 dollars for putting 21 on his eyeblack in remembrance of Sean Taylor
Brandon Marshall was fined for wearing green cleats for mental health awareness month $5,250
Troy Polamalu was taken out of the game due to suspician of a concussion and was fined $10000 for using a cell phone to call his wife and tell her he was ok
CK disrespects the country-Priceless apparently

He should be punished for being criminally overpaid.
Posted on 8/28/16 at 7:59 pm to Adam Banks
Why would they? He's free to be a moron on his own.

Unless his contract says he has to stand, it's his right to sit. He's an a-hole and his reasoning is iffy at best but he can do it because this is America.

why would they? I don't think they require players to stand during the anthem

I mean, he's basically done anyways, the situation will quickly solve itself.
I'm sure Chip Kelly's autistic arse will probably use this as an excuse to cut him.

yep, what that flag represents is exactly why he can do such things with no repercussions

His punishment is coming from the court of public opinion.

Yeah! He has the RIGHT to make money from a private corporation, no matter what he does. It's in the constitution!

Hit submit too early.
The NBA took action on Mahmoud abdul-Rauf.
Its a free country but not a free organization.
Protest on their own time not company time

The NBA required standing to the anthem in the CBA. The NFL does not require that in its CBA
they can't touch him
they can't touch him

It's not explicitly written but would anyone be surprised if Roger rolled it into conduct detrimental to the league.

hey can't touch him
I think they can find some legal wording to encompass this.

How about Goodell's nebulous personal conduct "protect the shield" crap.
This definitely affects the NFL's reputation.
