Everything is edible if you are hungry enough

I find my leftover Mountain Dew and vodka to be as good as new with a few ice cubes in the morning.

Would you eat another person?

Just think. Rip yourself from this cushy modern world and imagine yourself, freezing and ill-clad in the Alps on Hannibal's march.

Your pack animal, with all your food, has fallen over the cliff into the icy abyss below.

You've been separated from your column by an avalanche, with only your dead comrades around you.

And you haven't eaten in days.

Hunger, which has panged you at dinner, and breakfast, and lunch, and dinner, and breakfast with no respite, now rears up in your belly like an enraged monster.

The flesh of the dead looks so tender, so inviting....

How hungry are you?

Big Macs actually taste better if you buy it, pop it in the fridge overnight, and then pop it in the microwave for 45 secs the next day.

water and bread.

Water doesn't go stale.

Put water on bread. Not stale.

Popcorn gets chewy and kind of chalky when stale. No thanks.

Absolutely nothing. You can convince yourself otherwise, but deep down you know nothing that is stale is actually enjoyable.

Recently went on vacation and came home to a loaf of bread that was 2 weeks past the "best by" date but was perfectly fine. It wasn't even dry in the least bit like bread gets towards the end of that sell by date. I can only guess that not opening the bag for that 10 days I was gone kept it fresh? But I ate every bit of it.

Only one real answer. Payday candy bar. You can leave one of those bad boys out unwrapped on the counter for a week and peanuts will be softer than fresh, but it will taste the same.
