Don't think there's a thread like this.. Was just looking through some old picture albums and was trying to make a list for myself
My number 1 by far would be Easter Island. Spent about a week there in 2013 by myself at a campground and was by far the most rewarding travel experience I've had. Spoke little to no Spanish, but the locals were some of the nicest people I've ever met. Every one traveling there were pretty cool. Only rented a car one day to go to the quarry.. Besides that walked around the island and rode bikes. Incredible, incredible place.. Would love to go back in January when they have their big festival.
Id round the rest of my top 5 with
2) Tofino, Vancouver Island
3) San Francisco, California
4) Eau Claire, Wisconsin(during Eaux Claires)
5) Wanaka, South Island New Zealand

Now this should be a fun thread. For me I remember experiences more than geography. Tops include:
1) Antico Noe for sandwiches in Florence, Italy
2) Hot chocolate from Angelique in Paris
3) foie gras in Budapest
4) top of Mauna Kea on the big island of Hawaii
5) the marsh around Reggio, la with my step son whenever we make it- unfortunately only like 2x per year
6) New York during Christmas with my step daughter
7) swim up bars at all inclusives... They are all the same, right?
8) Marbella, Spain- unreal place and the mix of culture is amazing
9) Cinque Terre- walking the five cities was something to be done
10) my house- I travel a ton and frankly nothing is as good as coming home

If you have pics to share then start a location-specific thread so we can see your pics of your favorite places.....and we will update the sticky with your photos. Thanks!

I haven't traveled a ton in my younger years as my folks weren't big travelers, but from where I have been my favorites are:
Durango, CO
Antigua and Barbuda
Smoky Mountains

I think a lot of places places also become favorites due to the experiences and memories you've had there.
For me right now - Cinque Terre, Italy.

Did you go to Corniglia?

Yeah we bought the CInque Terre pass that is good for 3 days and went to all the villages more than once. We also hiked between each village all the way from Riomaggiore to Monterroso over the course of 4 days. We made sure we wouldn't have to rush and had enough time to not have a set plan. We started the day in 1 village and just did whatever, whenever. I think that is critical to really enjoy this beautiful place.
