In 2008, for the LSU-Bama game in Baton Rouge, a bunch of us posters from Rivals.com had a tailgate with guys coming from LSU, USC, Michigan, Bama, FSU, ND, Oregon, Texas Tech, etc...
We all ate together at Chimes or Walk-ons (can't remember) and recruits Rueben Randle & Josh Downs ate with us becuase Reuben's brother was with our group.
I felt really old talking football with Reuben & Josh. All the "yes sir" responses they gave made it feel more like an interrogation rather than a conversation.

I had a couple beers with DJ Welter and some mutual friends one time, I went on to puke my brains out 3-4 hours later.

Was playing ball at rec as a fresh in 08 and a bunch of fball players walked in and w the 8 of them they added me and another white kid to play 5 on 5. Patrick Peterson and jj were among the ppl playing. Needless to say me and the other kid just spotted up by the 3 point line while they were flying in for dunks.
Eta: it was before Jordan had started playing and before pp had really become a star so idk if that fits the criteria

My son played high school ball with Marquis Hill. Marquis was a couple of years older than my son, but I will always remember how nice he was to my son and family. A gentle giant in high school. He was terrific to my wife. I cried when he died.

Partied with Tyrann, Kwon and Duke a few years back in NOLA at Red Eye.
Kwon was hitting on my friends wife, he finally had enough and took him for a lap around the bar to find something else.

I used to live next door to Dwayne bowe, Ali highsmith, and E.J. kuale, one morning EJ come knocking on my door asking if a bullet went through my wall because he was drunk and shot a picture of his girl on his mirror and it went through his wall but didn't come through mine LMAO...we got high and played Madden afterwards..true story

Nice try but it was Beckham,Duke,and Kwon. Kwons buddy who was apparently a Marley was attempting to hit on my wife. Kwon was amazing the whole night. We ended the night at 4 r 5 drinking from the 5th of crown that OBJ got from the bartender buds of his. After that night, that's what made me be countryboykwon. All he said that night was that he was a country boy from bama. I was blown away with how down to earth he was. And I did try to get some skank to blow him but sadly didn't succeed on my attempt.

Was playing a softball tourney @ Drillers Diamonds back in the day... One of our players was the tennis teams trainer and had a key to get into tiger stadium... We actually went to see if any football players might have been working out but no one was there... He let us go thru the tunnel and out on the field ...we stayed roughly 15 minutes but wanted us to leave before any coaches might have gotten there .. As we walked out this silver Nissan ZX turbo drives up to the curb right outside the stadium and out jumps Harvey Williams... We thought he was coming to work out but he only stop to take the top down on his car...we shot the shite with him for a while telling him how nice of a car he had... He told us he had just got it out the shop that his GF had wrecked it.. He said he was heading back to Hempstead TX to "chill out" a bit before football workouts were going to start.... Also played a band job once when Ben McDonald was dating this chick from New Iberia... At 6'6" you couldn't miss him on the dance floor..

My father (Victor Jones) was on the same LSU team with all those guys.. I believe he played the 85-88 seasons. Still friends with most of them Dunbar and Tony Moss in particular.
