I've given an explanation multiple times.

What the frick are you talking about.

Unfortunately, it's like explaining brain surgery to a plumber who THINKS he knows brain surgery.

No explanation ever suffices.

Yes. Two people who clearly haven't even a tiny bit of actual business knowledge agree with each other's theories on how business runs.

Genius I tell you!

This entire thread amounts to:

First guy "Hey, this flood really hurt me economically"

Second guy. "yeah, I'm fricked here too".

First guy. "I don't give a frick about your problems. Pay me"

PTO is PTO usually and once it's out so is your check.

Unless the Co has some freaking sack and does the right thing.

Again, more insults instead of refuting it. Typical.

You didn't refute what elprez said at all actually. You're too busy being a condescending twat.

So why should a company, most likely dealing with their own losses, bend over for employees?

Because your employees are your most important asset. Because companies reap the benefits of you working beyond 40 hrs for free during busy times over the course of the year without any additional compensation. So it works both ways.

Yeah. I did.

People that know nothing about a subject generally feel as if it is condescending when those that do know point out their deficiency.

I can't really help how you feel about your lack of knowledge. That's a you problem.

I am actually but if you worked for me, you'd probably disagree.

I've found in my career that shitty self entitled employees generally don't like bosses who prefer non shitty self entitled employees.

Trust me. Solid managers aren't losing any sleep over the fact their shittiest employees don't like them.

In fact, I've found that where shitty employees like their managers, the good ones hate the manager.

You still haven't refuted anything, and you're still doing nothing but insulting. Keep on keeping on though.

Like I said. A you problem.

Hell. I'm not even the only one who explained why you morons are wrong.

You just enjoy your non informed theories.

You dismissing answers doesn't mean you weren't answered.

All you can do is insult me instead of actually refuting what he said. You just keep saying you have even though you haven't.

You could actually say something instead of repeating the same thing. You won't though. Maybe it's because you don't have shite to say other than being the condescending twat that you are.
