Anyone suffer from Tinnitus?

Within the last 3-4 years it's gotten bad. Constant ringing that seems to be exacerbated by drinking and stress.
Anything you have done that helps alleviate? Other than not drinking and not being stressed out (catch 22).

Google it. I watched a YouTube video about covering your ears and tapping the back of the head with a snap like motion. Don't remember the specifics
Edit:
I could be thinking about the wrong thing

Had it for several years. Couldn't tell if a phone had a dial tone in that ear because ringing was so bad.
Had several docs treat it with no benefit.
Could be coincidence, but was taking OTC allergy medicine like Alegra D or something and noticed it was better. Took that medicine continually for 3 weeks and ringing got better and then was gone. Has been all clear for 5 years now ( knocks on wood).

I do. It got to a point where I thought I was going to go insane... but, after a couple of months I got used to it. Really nothing else to do for it.

I cannot remember a time in my life when my ears were not ringing. Occasionally the tone will change, but it never stops.

No but I can't imagine having it though, that must be terrible. Closest I've come is being at loud concerts and my ears will ring for a day or two.

I think it's becoming more common because of all the earbuds.

Only in one ear, not so bad I cannot live with it.

I've had it for about 7-8 years now. It's so loud that I have to use a noise maker at night to fall asleep. Went to ENT but no help. It sucks but I just live with it. Just failed my first hearing test too.

I work in the music industry so I panicked when I got Tinnitus a few years back.... I found out that I could control it with cutting out sugar, caffeine and cutting aspartame as much as possible... (Not sure why it works-- it just does--- if I eat a piece of cake or something -- 15 mins later my ears are ringing like crazy) Been doing that for over a year now and it is basically gone... There is also a great video on YouTube that gave me relief when I was first dealing with it
LINK
Hope that helps... It sucks in a big way...
Folks.... Listening to ear buds loudly, is a quick ticket to tinnitus, it's not worth it...
