If the beer didn't fall off so fast they wouldn't have to do this.

I only run in and out of the store so I don't have to see the prices of the non beer items

I grabbed some 7/18 this weekend and thought that was pretty damn fresh. 50 cases seems a bit much. I know most of it will sell, but last time they got a bunch of cases like this, it sat in the store for a couple months. However, i guess it worked out because that was around the same time they didn't brew up envie for nearly a month.

Bought some bottled on 8-2 last week. Didn't taste any different than being a month old.

this is a gimmick marketing move....

they arent gonna blow through 50 cases just because it's 1 day old. in a couple more days that batch will be everywhere.

I doubt it. A month old though, good to go.

Nah, they're hooking their customers up with some really fresh Envie. I'd have gone today if I hadn't tried really fresh Envie. Had the 8-2 batch and compared it to mid July batch and it tasted the same.

Smooth move by Parish.
There may be some deal that if they can move 50 cases of Envie, then they'll do the same with a Ghost release.

I'm gonna go buy some at Calandro's today. I love fresh IPAs.
