He was a music teacher and I believe the band director while I was at Catholic. He is a great guy and this gave me goosebumps.

Taps tears me up. Had a couple of older military relatives who had taps played for them after passing. They were older and they lived a good life, so I wasn't gonna be grieving as much as laughing with people about the awesome life they lived. However, when Taps was played I became all emotional.

I have heard taps play too many times. Still gives me chills.
Even hearing it once is too many.

I'm going to pretend that was a Bald Eagle screeching at the end of that video

I'm not in the least bit ashamed to admit that I've had tears in my eyes a bunch of the past two days, and this was another occurrence. And I think anyone that lives in Baton Rouge and says they haven't is without a heart and without a soul. Thanks for sharing OP.

I'm conflicted. I really disliked him at CHS, but there's no way you can feel anything but pride with that video.
For whatever it's worth, his wife that posted the video teaches/taught at CHS as well. Not sure if she's still there.

He transferred to MBS, he is doing band and security. I really miss his strictness over the band program. I have one that just finished and one that is a sophmore. He left them with a good foundation.
