BLM leaders received a culture shock in Baton Rouge.

I went backed and watched the periscope of the arrest of Dee-Ray and the aftermath. It is like they could not comprehend that the cops were doing their jobs and not letting the patients run the asylum. How dare the cops break up their roadblock? You could hear it in their voices that they thought they were better than they black people from here and that they were doing them a favor by being here. It was almost as if they were disgusted by having to be here. They were physically and emotionally drained from not getting their way and being allowed to do what they wanted to do. It really made you see how they only use these incidents and the people involved as political pawns.

Can you blame them?

One lady actually said "the police are better armed than the protestors!" Like she was shocked by this.

The BLM and NBPP didn't come from dirt poor black communities. Most of them are college-educated and come from middle-upper class families. See Quan X. They feel like they're "slumming it" here

lol
you guys had the worst turn out of any city.
they also brought on the peter puffers like deray
this is far from over, what is showed, is that the locals are smart enough not to cross that line.
When it gets to the grand jury decision, or decision not to indict, then well see what brpd can do.
shite, this was kids play compared to other cities. people were there to party, not cause damage.

The thing with BR is it has neighborhoods all around the area they were at. They aren't going to let them get to far out of control.
They were also ready to meet them with nasty force tonight if need be. They were able to target leaders though and snatch tonight.
If there is one thing la leo do well its crowd control.

We had a lot more than just BRPD out there tonight, BRPD, EBSO, LPPD, ACPD, LSP made sure that nothing would get out of hand and when they tried it was shut down. Louisiana is on full force to make sure this does not turn ugly. I do agree there will be a second round of this no matter what the outcome will be but trust me Louisiana will be ready.

LSP and the local leaders of the black community made the black panthers go home.

Thanks. I knew the way I put it didn't sound correct.

I find it interesting such low turnout in the city that sparked it.
I think eventually it will fizzle, a few months go by cops are left off and nothing happens because it will come out that Alton had a gun. Also Americans are like gold fish they can only focus so long. Once we have some natural disaster hit around the globe and other global events this all goes away.
