The last couple of cleats I've owned have been Puma EvoSpeeds, which are great lightweight ones. Kings are also awesome.

Yes they are. Can't find a black pair for less than $100 at the store anymore.

I'm currently rocking the indoor variety of these

Don't be cheap or do some research online
You also get what you pay for with lower end cleats. Less comfortable and blisters.

I still want to get these that Balotelli used to wear.

I'll disagree. It's been the opposite with me. I've never had more blisters than with $80+ cleats.
Hell, the most comfortable pair I ever had were some $20 FILAs. I got them because I was at a tournament and my old pair literally fell apart mid game. Needed a short term fix to finish the last 1 or 2 games, but I wore those cleats for probably another year and a half.
I rarely play anymore but I still need cleats to referee and they need to be mostly black. I'm not going to order a pair online without trying them on first.

i just wear the copa's hendo posted on page 1. I try not to get caught up all this high end cleat nonsense.
they hurt when i first bought them like any cleat probably would. but once i got them worked in they have been fine, and durable.

Buying them online is pretty much the norm now as soccer stores are becoming less and less and places like Dicks for the most part carry the lower end model of a cleat not the top of the line ones.
Once you find a brand you know and how they fit buying online is no issue.

Haven't bought Nike cleats in awhile, but my gold pair of The Neymar Hypervenoms still are flawless, but they don't have those built in socks which I think would be uncomfortable regardless.
Not sure why anyone would think there would be a warranty on cleats though. I've probably gone through 30+ pairs of cleats in my lifetime, granted, I really only used them for football.

I never bought expensive cleats. I had a pair of Adidas and a solid gold pair of Jomas that were

I tell all my players not to buy online. We have a few soccer stores here in town, and I encourage them all to buy locally instead. These are people that are investing in the sport in our city, and I feel like we should support them every chance we get.
Also:
Adidas cleats are mostly ugly. 2 out of 10 look good.
Nike cleats are mostly pretty. 8 out of 10 look good.

Anyone paying 200+ for soccer cleats should be conned.
Lol I don't think I've ever spent less than $200 on football/soccer cleats since high school
But if you find something that works for you that's cheaper, then that's all that matters.

Just bought some 2014 Adizero f50's. I'm looking forward to changing from Nike.
I've noticed the quality of Nike isn't quite up to par as their older stuff especially if you go Into the fly knit stuff (which is their most expensive?!). I've heard the fly wire snapping on those. Still rocking Vapor 7's since I took a long hiatus, but excited for the F50's. Can't believe cleats are going for $300 now

Kind of a thread hijack but my boys want the Messi cleats for the fall season (I just get the cheapest $60 version). I know they have the silver color out right now but I saw on footyheadlines that there is supposed to be a shock blue color coming out in July. Does anyone know if that's true?
Thanks
Thanks

Who downvoted Xabi's tirade about Nike being cheap plastic, they don't know shite about football (just basketball), and have been in football for three days?!?!?!?
