Website still showing $550. So $399 is a steal
not sure driving to Lafayette is worth $150. Might just order it online at $550

BR location won't honor the $399?
Posted on 7/7/16 at 3:26 pm to Uncle JackD

Same thing happened to mine. Waited for a Costco roadshow and bought a kamado big joe.

This is still ongoing at a location near me in ATL, picked up 80 lbs of the KJ restaurant quality lump for $60, that is some really good lump, almost as good as Fogo. Supposed discount prices were $1200, $780, & $400 Big Joe 24", Classic, and Jr with heat deflectors and everything. My 9 year old Primo Oval XL is still in excellent condition or I would have considered the 24" if in the market.

They were having the road show at the Lafayette location on Saturday. KJ was still high as giraffe balls even with road show pricing

They have more than one? I'll piss away $400 to try that grill

I have 2 of them and they both pretty much look like that. I'm still using them & will still do a good long low & slow cook, just can't keep it quite as low.

Can get the Primo Oval Large for basically the same price, also on Amazon.
The Primo warranty is tremendous. I broke one while moving. Sent me a new one, no questions asked. The shipped one had a crack during transport, so they sent me another new entire one, no questions asked.
The top of mine came off during a cook due to a faulty install of the band - completely my fault - and they sent me a whole new primo oval xl, no questions asked.
Wonderful company. Made in Georgia.

They sound durable, that's for sure

Understand the sarcasm. Went through a string of bad luck with a big move. Two of the incidents were completely due to my own stupidity. The breaks would've happened to any ceramic, in the same circumstances.
The overall point is that they were willing to just send a free, totally new unit due to a tiny hairline crack. One of the units they replaced is still being used by my dad and has no functional problems at all.

Alright, I got in touch with the guy via text message. Tried calling but no answer so I texted him. He's at a music fest and music is too loud to hear over the phone. I'll speak to him tomorrow afternoon. I'll update on this tomorrow.

Keep us posted big Caj. Hopefully the guy didn't do any drugs at the fest.
