Yea, because it's common to see people come out and "officially" say "career ended from cocaine addiction."

I'm a huge Tiger fan, but wouldn't be surprised at all if he took performance enhancers.
Could his swing have anything to do with it? Modern swings aren't the best for staying healthy.

Not career-ending but many of the big long-swingers wound up with back issues late in their careers. Jack, Norman, Freddie to name a few.
I have read that golf is the absolute worst activity for your back. Still like to play, though.

Golf is terrible on your body. Lower back takes a lot of strain.

modern swings are hell on the back ... jack had minor problems at most cause he didn't leave his feet on the ground while his shoulder/hips turned ...

I'll take the low road and say Payne Stewart...

Chris DiMarco was hot in the mid 2000s. Chronic shoulder problems a fall on a ski slope and procedures in 2007 ended all that and he's now mostly commentating

Ian Baker-Finch developed a mental block and lost his game. Great commentating career but he was talented enough to win a lot more if he could've gotten his head straight

#6 in the owgr. Top 20 on pga money list for five consecutive seasons. 5 top ten finishes in majors with 3 second place finishes. Clinched 2005 President's cup.

Can't really say hogan considering he won 5 or 6 majors after the wreck.
Couples still plays today
Kim could probably compete professionally right now, but is making too much money to chance it.
I think/hope tiger will come back and win on the pga tour.

seems like Tiger may never play again, what's his deal?

PED's and a 9 iron to the head on Thanksgiving night for being an adulterer will do that to your game.

I read an article by Hank Haney. He said he carefully reviewed videos of Tiger in his prime and Tiger just before getting back injuries. It was noticeable that Tiger had lost flexibility as he gained upper body muscle. Loss of flexibility leaves you open to back injury.

Yo dog, lemme show you Anthony Kim.
Not only did this cat retire, he reportedly doesn't even play golf AT ALL anymore. He's 31 years old.
