I went through the slide show and just realize how ridiculous it is to club Les Miles in that group of individuals...but we have some awesome fans, what can I say!!!

Leslie was all but fired at the end of last year and was miraculously spared and you think it's ridiculous that a writer would include him on a list of coaches on the hot seat?

If we only win 9 games this regular season with this talent then you bet your arse he'll be on the hotseat

Well win this year and he has nothing to worry about right? Would you agree that a 9 win season would be underachieving big time with the talent we have now? This team should be great from game 1 to their final game. It's mature and talented. No excuses left. It's time to perform.

Well, it's a good thing you're not in a position to make those sort of decisions.

Do you really think he was retained on a 1 year look see basis. You want to buy some land in South Florida? Come on!!!

Its a hot/cold seat. This season to me is all or nothing for Les. Its beat Bama and win the west and play for the SECCG and a spot in the playoff or bust.

He has had incredible success at the school, going 112-32 in 11 seasons and winning one national championship.

now, that is some crazy resume material right there...we get rid of les, there will be a stampede of ADs making offers to him.

If last November repeats itself then he's gone IMO.

You clowns with your stupid, Les was almost fired BS, make me laugh! Not one reliable news outlet made such a claim, but because a idiot on a message board posted it, it's true.

Almost as bad as Hanny claiming Cam was leaving LSU. Retards being retards!

The vocal minority on the message boards had to be stunned
at the support shown to Les Miles after their ilk led by Joe Alleva dragged LSU's reputation
thru the mud for weeks in a ridiculous attempt to run Les off.

The national criticism was coming from virtually every sports writer in the country yet these bummed out Miles haters
continue with their bashing and discontent. Some of these malcontents have been bitching and whining for 11 years now. It is not the betterment of LSU they want because it is truly a personal situation for them and their personal desire is all they care about. You can't be rational with them because their minds are made up.

LSU is going to have a great year and the sad thing for them is that all along the way these detractors are going to miss out do to their outright hate of Les Miles. Laughable.

Yeah I just don't see it happening. Whatever happened, Les is still here. Still can't believe people actually have faith in the people running this show. If they do fire Miles, we are fricked unless these tards learned their lesson. I'm going to say they didn't since Alleva still runs his mouth about it.

Anyone who thinks Les Miles, at 9-3 in 2016, will be fired and paid $10 million plus to NOT coach at LSU does not understand the current Board of Supervisors and administration who run LSU.

Now, we will potentially be having new BOS members over the next 24 months appointed by our new governor. Maybe in 2 years Alleva could get the BOS votes to fire Les.

That was said about Bobby Bowden, too. But they still got rid of him, because those accomplishments were front-end loaded. Bowden was underperforming his last few years. So has Miles.

I'm a Miles fan. I'm glad he wasn't fired. But I agree with the consensus on here: Miles needs to perform at championship level for the first time since 2012 at least.
