I thought there would be a *relatively* serious discussion but as the comments rolled in it became clear to me that nobody has any clue lol
I was told by someone close to the float that the person was pushed. Regardless, people are dumb and this is out of hand.

We normally don’t do all that day time shite
Yes and yes.
I have an 18 month old and would love to bring her to an LSU game... just not an away game. Those 8 hours of drive time can be rough with a crazy, energetic toddler. I have multiple friends, including myself ( I am my own friend), that are going to the game. This is gonna rock! Love Nashville.

In a heart beat.

And I *really* care about a QB who is heady and extends drives when he has to. Etling improvised at least 3-4 times in plays that directly led to extending drives on 3rd down. From the perspective of an LSU fan watching our QB play under Miles, I'm relatively giddy right now.
My attitude right now is such a contrast to my attitude after the Wisky game. I am not saying that we are going to win the SEC West, but I can sure as Hell hope that we can. Now with Etling at the helm, I can hope in a great season. And what is there to lose? Miles Will be gone after this season, so why not hope for a good one.
Harris will not be starting as the QB this week. What evidence do I have? very little. When Saturday comes we will all be the wiser.
I think regardless, Etling is the better QB. He is not going to lead us to a national championship, but Miles would be an idiot to trust BH over him.

The delusional optimism is alive and well!
I agree. With all the terrible QB play this past weekend and the inept play calling, I still hold on to an optimistic attitude. Two TD passes from Harris and one rushing TD! Optimistic until we crash and burn! :nana:
If not, I will still be enjoying my time... :drunkards:

Oh he is definitely on the hot seat.

What do y’all feel is the #1 reason why our passing offense struggled so much?
A) Play calling (predictability, lack of receivers in routes, types of routes ran)
B) Harris’ inability to truly understand the play call and know where the play is designed to attack
C) Lack of field vision on Harris’ part and lack of progression through receivers
D) Simply inaccuracy on Harris’ throws
We have done a poor job at developing QBs, thats obvious. Consequently, BH has to have the game plan dialed down to be easier for him. Countless times, he overthrows players in the flats that should be an easy toss.
In the end the answer is D IMO. He needs to be better, but I don't think he needs to be much better. I don't understand how we got away from the I-formation running with Buga. After the Bama game its like we didn't want to try it. I would love to know the yards per play of the I-formation vs any other run play. With buga AND a FB, you are almost guaranteed a 3+ yard, unless playing bama. I hate this "misdirection" crap. Just let #7 fall forward.

People need to get over themselves. These idiots on Twitter obviously know nothing about Louisiana culture.
Thanks Yahoo. :violin:

You are right. We have the worst punt return coverage in the nation, according to ESPN on Saturday.
Its not all on the D for the scores of those game.

Well, we haven't yet and I have no doubt we will come out flat like we always do.
I agree. But look at our games this season.
Teams like East Michigan and Syracuse scored 20+ points on our D. Don't get me wrong- I am NOT complaining. We are winning.
I want the D to come out and prevent 10 points from being scored but its not our modus operandi this season...
It helps that Harris has the legs to run the ball when in trouble. I think Fournette still gets 100+ yards rushing but Harris's throws make the difference in the BAMA game. I look forward to the OL continuing to give BH time to throw AND space for Fournette to run.

Offense will rank around 60-75
The only way we make this a great Offensive year is if Harris plays and if Harris plays well. Other than that, Jennings will give us sub-par play, and wins will come from Fournette running over people.
I have no confidence in Jennings. He is like Abby Wombach for Team USA- the team looks to her to make plays, but even when she has something so basic- like a PK- to make, she disappoints.
I say 9-3. But I hope for 11-1

Pandering for Payton
Its hardest to show good sportsmanship when you lose. Much respect to TCU fans.
re: Distilling down Les Miles

I don't think it would have been a bad ending to JL's career. Even if we lost, JL and Les Miles would have been praised for doing everything they could to win the game. JL may not have even made a difference, and the fact is, JJ didnt look any better in production, so why not take him out? LM was not doing it for his players, and if he was he looks like an idiot, no matter how much of a players coach he is.
I still support Les Miles in everything that he was able to do, but this past season, I lost so much respect- I am just glad JJ is gone.

They were also much worse teams that we played in order to get those numbers.
Miles will prepare the team better than Saban, but I think it comes down to the offense producing. If we just put in our special teams and defense we can score points, but I am nervous about our offense being inaffective. At the least, JJ needs to not make any mistakes (or jarrett lee, if he gets put in).

For what it is worth Jason A. Churchill and Keith Law of ESPN insider think that Lee will come to LSU. Think that he is going to be tough to sign and the Dodgers aren't one to spend the kind of money he wants.
