16 wrangler unlimited rubicon hard rock in granite crystal. Everything but the headliner. Community motors in Hammond, best deal out of anyone. Under 48k with ttl. Been raining so I'll have a couple photos up in a bit.

I doubt you can build it for the same amount or less than what the rubicon hard rock comes with for the price.

Good luck to you...ride with the top down as much as possible and enjoy. My only regret is not buying one in my twenties. Too busy with hot Stangs.
Now I have an 05 Ruby...just ordered a Teraflex 3" and GY MT/Rs so i can sling mud better.
I'm lucky as i have a little property and mudbogs behind my house...I don't wash it as it's just gonna get muddy again.

Excellent choice, it is the same I am about to get. Almost loaded, no painted top or fenders. Also a manual, so the wife cannot drive it

Easily. Hell for that much price difference, I could outfit it with these bad boys (plug and play Dana 60's front and rear)... If I built the axles myself, it would be considerably cheaper.

I got the paint top and fenders with an auto. Didn't have time to wait for it to be built with a manual.

I thought we covered this earlier
On a sport you are looking at replacing/adding
Front axle
Rear axle if you do not pay for the D44 upgrade
Transfer Case
Lockers front and rear
Gears
Sway bar
rock rails
Extra skids possibly
If you want to put D60s on, you are only going to do that to run a 37" tire or up. So it is going to cost $3-$7K per axle, then you have to start swapping out everything else to support the larger tires.
Then you will have one nice frankenrig that will perform well, but if done right will be around $50K. Enjoy your warranty work as well

You'll need some kind of hoist system to make it easy. I built a simple one using ratchet straps. Takes me 8 minutes to take the top off. Yes I timed it.

I've built more Jeeps than I can even remember over the last 25 years... I have no doubt it can easily be done.
Those axles I posted are built Mopar Dana 60's, everything included, lockers, gears, brakes... everything. $4k each. The built Dana 44's are around $2800. Both of these are considerably stronger than the stock Dana 44's.
Transfer case... meh, not really needed with an auto trans. But I can put on a brand new Atlas 2 for < $3k or get a used Rubicon for around $1500.
(Btw, all JK's come with a Dana 44 rear axle, it's not an upgrade option... the locker is an option though.)

Myself. Took about 4 hours. I'd say closer to eight for a first timer.
The rear trackbar bolts take an hour by themselves if you haven't encountered that hell before.

Meh, just did this. The base mopar is twice the price of the base bds.
The maxed mopar is 300 more than the max BDS.
Guess which one has a lifetime warranty with no questions asked.

Id compare this with say a JKS or RockKrawler lift and see if they are apples to apples. 1500 isnt bad for a lift that comes with everything like control arms and shocks.
Do your research before slapping on XYZ lift. Mopar would be the last thing I would look at as far as lifts go. So much better out there on the market. You can end up costing yourself money and headaches in the long run if you ever want to upgrade something like a control arm or track bar.

Ive installed a couple myself. If you have the right tools its a 6-8 hour process. Ive found the instructions with these lifts are very detailed so that makes it easier if its your first time.

I installed the suspension lift on my grand Cherokee wk and it wasn't fun. Took me about 10 hours. From the videos I've watched, the wranglers seems to be MUCH easier. I have no reason not to, but I have a hard time trusting a shop to do everything correctly. Probably dumb but whatever.
