Is she trying to look like Loretta Lynn? What a shame...she was so cute when she was younger.

I wouldn't say always. Very early in her career she was pretty homely looking. As she started seeing some success, she clearly had some work done, which improved her look.
Never knew why she did though. Her voice has always been incredible, and I've seen her several times live and she has a very quick wit and sense of humor which just makes her more attractive, IMO.
