Keeping Crawfish Alive Overnight - Best Method?

Having 40lbs shipped up to Boston next weekend for a boil on Sunday, but they would not deliver on Sundays so I have them coming in Saturday afternoon.
Never had to keep them alive overnight before - any tips? We don't have an outdoor fridge to store them in, and since the boil is at a friend's house I'm not going to ask them to keep them in their fridge in the house.
Really looking forward to showing some of my northern friends what a proper crawfish boil looks like. TIA.

Fill an ice chest with ice, wet the sack of crawfish, let it drain, then lay on top the ice. Wet an old blanket, cover the crawfish, then cover the blanket with a large trash bag, placing an area in the shade without air movement and they'll be fine

Store in a cool place. Cover with bags of ice and then keep a wet burlap sack covering it.
Make sure to keep the burlap and crawfish wet.

Turn you AC down to 50. Put them in your bed and tell them a calming children's story. Then crawl in and turn the light off. They'll be fine in the morning.

Don't forget to pull plug on the ice-chest so water can drain.

I just stick the sack in my beer fridge in my shed. I have a little ice chest that the lid hinges broke off of so I take off the lid and stand the sack up in it then slide the whole ice chest into the ice box (shelves removed, of course).
I've transported them to North Carolina before using the 2x4 method ole boy mentioned above. Worked fine and kept for two days.

I put the sack on top of the ice with the ice chest at an angle so it will drain.

True story:
Crawfish boil last weekend
Got drunk
Forgot to boil all crawfish
Came down Sunday at noon and they were still alive (10 lbs)
Cooked them later that night. Then boiled lobsters in the same seasoned water. 15 boiled, 15 minutes soaked. They were great!
