Flying under the radar

They do make a valid point though. All the talent is there. Can we execute though?

It's a joke they don't even have a author for their article

SEC: LSU

This one is a little tough for me, because I think this team might be the most talented in the SEC. But I honestly don’t even know what to think of what the mental state of the LSU Tigers will be this season. Sure, a team with Leonard Fournette and a defense like it has should be near the top of the playoff charts, but remember all that late-season drama in Baton Rouge? You know, the whole Les Miles was maybe going to be fired, then he wasn’t fired, then everyone loved him? Well, what happens if the Tigers lose early? Is he out? What about a loss to Alabama? Gone then? No matter the talent -- or the supposed improvement of embattled quarterback Brandon Harris -- we have no clue how this team and coaching staff will react to adversity. I can’t trust a team that has to walk a tightrope all season long and could crumble at the first misstep. -- Edward Aschoff
Hard to argue this....

I think this is a fair question.

The burden of proof rests with Les.

He can prove them wrong in November.

While it's clearly a click bait tactic since ESPN are the main ones picking LSU to go to the playoffs, it's a legit point.

LSU has to play the three teams that kicked their teeth in last year. That is enough to question LSU making the playoffs.

How do I put this nicely? I don't give a flying frick what ESPN thinks about anything related to college football. They are starting to give Bleacher Report a run for its money for the biggest ball of shite that can double as "Analysis" for College Football.

ESPN ranks LSU #1 in their preseason mag and then writes another article to call them the most overrated contender. makes sense. Stand up "journalism" to self-create an argument amongst their own writers

Seems like sanity has prevailed ever since Miles escaped the gallows in November. May be that the most important element is the blessing of staying healthy all year.

Didn't they just feature Fournette/LSU on the cover as their #1 preseason team?

Brandon Harris lost more confidence than Jamie Howard.

This should be the #1 concern of anyone who knows or has watched LSU football.

Using agree with ESPN but LSU is not a playoff contender. We are just 6 games away from a new head coach!!!
