For me?
Voltron - Blown away by the awesomeness.
She-Ra - Blown away by first seen girl lead character a sister of He-Man. Saw 1st ep when it first premiered, and was gladly excited when young.
Powerpuff Girls - Girl team characters that made the girl team led appoach powerful.
Yu-Gi-Oh (origional) - It was a powerful mystic thing put cleverly in cartoon that you wouldn't understand till later. And I am a mystic when it comes to religion.

Watching Optimus Prime die was the worst thing that had ever happened to me at that point in my life.

Batman: TAS - One of the few shows to treat kids maturely without bowing to overt mechanisms.
Transformers - Is there a better death in Cartoondom?
GI Joe - Perhaps Duke's death
Gargoyles - One of the greatest cartoon narratives of all time.
Tail Spin - Just stuck with me.
Also - Duck Tales, Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs

Jonny Quest.
Taught me that it's appropriate for young boys to fire automatic weapons and throw dynamite.

Why the hell did my parents let me watch Optimus get killed?
I watched that movie dozens of times as a kid. I mean like in the 30s to 40s. Hell i bought the blu-ray 25th anniversary edition and ive watched that at least 10 times. God forbid if Hulu or Netflix ever adds it.

Born in 1970, so Saturday Morning TV was my actual religion.
Favorite was Super Friends.
Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour
Pink Panther
Land of the Lost (though technically not a cartoon, no Saturday morning would have been complete without it!)
Also loved re-runs of The Jetsons, Jonny quest (best theme song in the history of television) and Speed Racer
To this day I still play Schoolhouse Rock stuff for my boys while teaching them things about history/civics or grammar.

Best cartoon EVER - 'Jonny Quest'
The voice of Jonny was none other than Tim Matheson ('Otter' from 'Animal House.')
'Hercules' with Newton, Helena, Daedelus....
Also enjoyed The Flintstones and Fractured Fairy Tales (Bugs Bunny Hour.)
Speed Racer and Space Ghost were rather bizarre.
Recently, I have to admit I liked Family Guy, Beavis and Butthead (and the Movie), and South Park.

The Two-Face two part origin was a powerful arc in Batman:TAS.
I remember some creepy arse Care Bear movies as younger kid.
