Could be good. Not sure about the full motion animus and the need for the subject to wear a wrist blade. . .

Are there any real sets? It looks like 100% computer animated in all of the Spain scenes. In fact, it looked exactly like screen shots from an Assassin's Creed game.

I think it definitely looks like they did the video game justice. It looks so much like an Assassins Creed game. The first and second games have a really good story. The way it incorporates mystery and the future/past elements. It has always had potential, IMO. But that was back in the day. Now, with all of the games that have come out, I'll be surprised if it can keep an element of surprise or mystery. Or show us anything new. I'll give it a shot because of my love for the first two games.

Looks good. I was really impressed with the 2 movies I've seen from Justin Kurtzel and he's teaming up with Fassbender and Marion Cotillard again.

I'm hoping that was just a poorly made trailer, because for some reason I have a tiny bit of hope that this could be a decent movie based on fassbender, director Justin Kurzel (Macbeth, Snowtown Murders) and the DP Adam Arkapaw (Snowtown, Animal Kingdom, True Detective s01, Macbeth). But yeah, the trailer has me less than enthused. I'll still go see it though.
