Off-Topic here but I just realized my Yesterday And Today Beatles album is one with the "Butchers Cover"? I saw an article about rare Beatles Albums so I got curious and peeled the top off sticker off and sure enough the Butchers Cover was right there! Any idea what they are worth and any interest in it? If not where do you suggest I sell it? Also my White Album has a serial number A 225,889 or something...it starts with an A and is in the low 200,000s...is that worth anything?

I don't care much for Deep Purple's cover of Kentucky Woman. On the other hand I do like their covers of Hush, Hey Joe and Help. I guess they should stick with songs that start with the letter H.

The White Stripes -- St. Andrew (The Battle is in the Air)

i don't hate it, it's just the least favorite of all their songs

thankfully it's the last song on the vinyl, so i can skip it easily

My co-worker always tells me about this album, and he claims that it is worth quite a few bucks.

Its actually a really cool cover. From what I have read the original ones with the cover were only released in a limited quantity for 1 day so they are super rare, they are worth tens of thousands of dollars in good condition, and they are called 1st state. Because the cover has the Beatles covered in chopped up meat and pieces of baby dolls the studio decided the cover was a really bad idea so they took the remaining inventory and then put stickers of the normal cover over the butcher cover, that is what I had until I took the sticker off, and they are called 2nd state. When I removed the cover I made mine into what is called 3rd state, its one that is like the original but once had a sticker on it.

That is what I gathered from reading about it today but it is kind of confusing. Obviously the 1st state is worth the most by far and from what I read the 2nd states are worth more than 3rd states so I probably shouldn't have rushed to remove it. Now what is really confusing is I read the 2nd states are worth more than 3rd but after looking on ebay it seems like the 3rd states are selling for more than the 2nd states. I am sure Marco knows about this so hopefully he can clarify.

Here is a pic of the cover and one with the sticker coming off, mine is at home so I just found these online:

David Bowie is one of my favorites but when him and Mick sang "dancing in the street" it was unbelievable bad.

Agree, that was sad. But, they teamed up to write It's Only Rock and Roll to correct the mistake.

This will be blasphemy to some but:

Zep - Kashmir. A plodding mess of a song complete with strings.

Eagles - Hotel California

Def Leppard - All Night

Widely regarded by even members of the band as the worst Def Leppard song and one of the worst songs of all time.

I think you may have discovered the origin of Bro-country.
