If Osweiler is halfway decent Houston will win the AFC south behind that defense.

and how does that make him the absolute best pass rusher?

I agree he is a good prospect and TB's best pick.

I think it is funny that a guy who hasn't even played a snap is undoubtedly, unquestionably the absolute best at something based on nothing substantial.

adding fuller and braxton miller to jaelen strong and the great deandre hopkins is so nasty. Ervin the RB is gonna surprise people him and lamar miller add so much speed to the backfield. Ive been a texans fan forever and the running backs we've had have been trash besides arian. Stacy Mack,Ron Dayne,Domanick Davis, etc we've never really had burners all over the field like we do now, im pumped.

Even in the playoffs or maybe right before Alfred Blue broke off this long run and got caught from behind, thats not happening to ervin or lamar miller

I never said Rankins was anything. You said he is the GOAT football player.

Sure about that?

But who really cares about his college accuracy TBH?

Different circumstances and most any competent kicker in the NFL is above his college accuracy stat.

20-45 a 6th rounder will make it 85% of the time.

The question is, can he bomb it and make the difficult kicks like Jano could and was worth the pick.

I think RA's longest kick is 51 yards and he wasn't great from 40_+.... Yawn.

You don't need to trade up to draft a Gramatica. A wasted pick. There is some unemployed former NFL free agent kicker who can do the same in the NFL right now.

Besides not liking the Aguayo pick, I'm not really sure what you're arguing. You seem a little emotionally invested about an opinion that can't be verified until the players actually play.

the bucs won't have to draft / worry about the kicker position until 2036. think about that. it's worth the pick

this thread reminded me of Luke Joeckel. it's amazing how massive of a bust the dude has been he was godly at A and M. He's so bad they won't even pick up the 5th year option

Aguayo is a good pick. His leg is so powerful that he cracks the shell off of crab legs barefooted.

As a Saint fan your right I am happy they drafted a kicker in the 2nd instead of trying to add players like LB hybrid Cravens to complete their LB'ing corp

David, Kwon, and Cravens would have been brutal

or Whitehair to protect their no.1 overall pick

or adding Bell to their secondary.

I am glad they thought K was their 3rd biggest need.

It makes the division easier to climb.

Chris Boswell and Dustin Hopkins were both extremely successful a year ago as UDFA kickers and Fairbairn will probably be the next one.

Post-draft rankings should be banned. In the interest of journalistic integrity, there should probably be a 3-5 year waiting period.

I am willing to bet I know more about Buccaneer football than John Clayton and I have a more unbiased opinion than some FSU groupie about one of their former players.

OK random overly emotional message board poster.

I would think with your vast knowledge, you may start to present facts or at least present a coherent argument.

Going 2nd round may have been a reach, but it isnt an awful pick. For the next 20 years, the Bucs will have a solid reliable kicker. Meanwhile, my saints will look like a monkey trying to screw a football in the kicking game and will be looking for a new one every 8 games or so
