I got tired of messing with it, but if 3 colors are allowed, something like this incorporates the familiar gold sticker with lsu P&G. Imagine the state outline is etched behind "Dem Baws" (or the text could wrap the inner circle like the other text).

I like the state of Louisiana in the middle. But don’t we have some out of state baws in here?

Just figured LA board, LSU, many of us out of state are from there, so still home in a way. I'm sure that's not the case for everyone, to your point.
