Quick question

Spending about $40-50 on a bourbon for the SB

What's the most bang for my buck?

Thought about a scotch but seems like the price points are a bit higher

Evan Williams or Jim Beam are probably the best bang for the buck.

good god no.....

whole lot of good bourbons out there for that price. search the thread but off the top of my head, eagle rare, elijah craig, four roses small batch and single barrel and a good bit more are all in that range and a much better buy than "Evan Williams or Jim Beam"

honestly I think these were the first ones that came to mind but I haven't actually shopped for bottles of bourbon in so long and know the prices have skyrocketed on some
Of them since... that's why I came to this thread with a price

the only prices that have really gone up are on more rare bottles.... the "normal" stuff has stayed pretty consistent. i can still get EC and ER for under $30 sooo.......

Sipping and sharing I like the Evan Williams Single Barrel and the Jim Beam Single Barrel. Makers is fine too. Elijah Craig was better when it was 12 yo now a small batch. Lots of people like Knob Creek and Buffalo Trace.

Calandros if you're looking to buy. Olive or Twist if you're looking for a pour.
