I doubt this thug is innocent of anything. There are plenty of thugs for the police to harass in this one particular place. The name escapes me at the moment. Oh, yes, it's Baton Rouge. He probably was asked to leave or quit acting like an animal and had to show his upbringing instead of just complying and leaving. I've never had my arse beat by an officer and I've encountered plenty in all sorts of incidents. I wonder what makes me different than idiots like this.

Meh, no matter how you slice it, the cop is wrong for beating him one he is subdued and in handcuffs.
Did he deserve an asswhipping? Probably, we all did at some point, but it shouldn't come at the hands of a cop. There is really no other way to look at this that is correct.
Were the cops the problem that day? No, not by a long shot if you look at the video Speedy posted, but that doesn't mean this a-hole was justified.
