Covington and Mandeville claim to be a NOLA suburb. Now they aren't even considered part of LA? Ouch.

Come to Eunice, observe a traditional mardi gras run, visit the cajun music hall of fame, see the World Crawfish Etouffe Cookoff in March, all the crawfish/rice fields, get fresh boudin and cracklins from the brand new slaughterhouse superette or T-Boy's locations on 190, and on the way out stop at Ruby's downtown and eat an awesome lunch, and tell me it's East Texas.

You can actually draw the East Texas boundary along US 165 to Monroe.
