Funny you should say that. How many "gun threads" must the OB board have? It makes that board go round.
Watch threads are not nearly as important as WYHI threads on here but they are popular.

Citizen Eco Drive
I also have this Michael Kors watch that my wife gave me and , believe it or not, it's been one of the better watches that I've had

Neither one of those is $200 or less
Nothing like saying you want something that costs X and getting endless suggestions on stuff that costs > X

Well, to be fair, a "watch expert" is useless in the sub $200 range. Obviously there is a watch that would be the most bang for your buck - I'm not sure what watch that is - but there is no watch under $200 that is really worth a shite in the first place. Sorry.

I knew that Seiko in the OP was a Tag knock off but I couldn't remember the name of it.

I love my seiko, mine hasn't missed a beat in 5 yrs, my model is solar so no need to replace a battery

I posted the prices with everything included, $229 is around $200. It's tough to get unique and something worth wearing for $200.

Good is relative. $200 can buy you a very nice looking automatic with the same guts that are in $2000 watches.

Christ, don't listen to Gaston! You'll be wearing some fricking hipster watch with a rustic leather band and selvage denim jeans that are not properly hemmed...

I got sick of the day/date type
recently got sick of the battery type too
there are not many plain faced automatics left on the market
I just found a russian one for 80 from amazon
but I hate the band...but have a cpl ready to change out the original

I don't disagree - there are plenty of shitty watches in all price ranges. The problem is that the OP is equivalent to asking the car experts to suggest something for under $10k. You may get something that represents "value" in that range, but it will never be a good car.
The same is true for a watch in these price ranges. I'm of the opinion of you're not going to spend money for something that is truly a good watch, you're better off with a Fossil or some other decent looking, sub $100 watch. That is a value.

Eco drives are very good deals. Many of them look good and they all keep good time and hold up well.
