If Saban came back and there was a ten mill buyout,

don't think he wouldn't bolt.
even though blacklisted in the pros, I can think of one team that would try to get him as the owner does not care whay anyone else thinks.

You're nuts. If he wanted to be at LSU he would have never left. NEVER. Les will prove that LSU is nothing more than a stepping stone program for more money.

I believe that if Nick came back to LSU and were to then leave a few years later for another team, it would be without his wife...

I can actually agree with that one.
Al Davis would ignore the rest of the league.

IDIOTIC statement. If Les leaves for Michigan it's not because of money. LSU can match Michigan.

I dont think that guy is going to be alive much longer. He already has a good coach anyway.

I don't think saban would ever try the nfl thing again.

At least our coaches leave for the pros, $5 million/year, and their Alma Maters - which just happens to be the winningest program in NCAA history.
Your coaches leave for f_cking eaTme!!!

Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys.

Anything is possible with Saban.

If Spurrier doesn't accept, it will be guaranteed that Saban will have a 10 million dollar buyout. For a guy who doesn't do buyouts, that says alot for the future of our progam.

Jason Garrett assures me that Dallas will not be in the market for other coaches for the next 10-15 years.
You have to believe Nick and his family were hit HARD by the critism for the past 2 years. IF he came back and IF he finally put a buyout in, I would feel as good about it as any other coach we would hire. LSU has no one out there coaching somewhere else (except Robiskie) that would ever give any of us that security if they were hired.

I don't want Nick Saban back at LSU under any circumstances. The man is a joke and if he returned it would make LSU look like a joke too.

Al Davis is the head coach of the Raiders, and has been since 1963.
There is no way in hell he'd work with Nick Saban. Why do you think coaches are always looking to leave? If Lane can survive for another year or two, I think he'll have that team turned around.

Bama's a stepping stone too. Only difference is the path up runs through LSU, the path down....well, ask Coach Fran.

You, Sir, are a dumbass.
LSU has the where-with-all to to compete with any school when it comes to salaries.
Did you forget that your Savior was the highest paid college coach in the country when he was here?
If Les goes to Michigan, it won't be for more money than he could make here.

That is an excellent point. The past 5 Alabama coaches have pretty much been ruined by the position.

Alabama sucks. Once we take Saban back and Dr. James Andrews back, you're stuck with a state full of nothing. Congratulations you will officially be Mississippi.
