The Punisher was amazing. The scene at the end with him in full Punisher getup was awesome. The fan-boy in me lost it for just a moment.

The talk between him and DD in the graveyard in episode 4 was so well done it gave me chills and I got a bit misty eyed at one part.

Please make a standalone Punisher series based off of the Max Series by Garth Ennis!

Just finished. Man I can't wait for Season 3. A lot of great stuff in the season.

Luke Cage looks fun, and now i want a Punisher series very bad.

Just wrapped up season 2 and honestly this might be one of the best things Marvel has done. I don't know if they give awards for fight choreography but whoever does DD's needs to be given one. That fight down the staircase in episode 3 was a thing of pure beauty.

Agreed. I was constantly awed by the fight scenes, and this one in particular stood out the most.

I believe is Ep4 was a film, it would be in major contention for best film, director and Supporting Actor. That was a classic.

This season put DD up there with Game of Thrones for me. I found it to be damn near perfect, and it has filled the void left by Justified. This is a great show

This. I was expecting to be disappointed because I mainly liked season 1 DD because of Kingpin. Between Punisher and Elektra, they minimized DD which worked for me because I just don't like DD. And I disagree with all the Karen hate here. I liked how she and Foggy were used in season 2 much more than season 1.

So is the Defenders movie going to be a NetFlix Exclusive, and if so, will it be more than the standard 2-2.5 hours? It just seems like a standard movie might seem like a bit of a let down compared to the many 13 hour seasons it will be built upon. But if it's a NetFlix exclusive they may not have to work in too much back story.

I thought the Defenders would be a 6-8 episode event series. I didn't think it was going to be a movie.

And I definitely want to see more of Frank Castle. I don't know if I want him as the sole focus or playing off of other characters though. He really worked as the middle ground between DD and Elektra.

A 6-8 episode miniseries would be great.

as of now, that's what they are saying. 4-8 epidsodes.

I'd rather not have a punisher stand alone, but have him stick with Daredevil, maybe pop into an episode or two in JJ and Iron Fist. I'd rather Luke Cage stick with jessica Jones as well. There's only so much you can do in one neighborhood in New York. do they really need 5 storylines going on in Hell's Kitchen?

I think there is enough room for it. But maybe that's just me. I want as many of these Netflix series as they're willing to make. As long as the quality holds up.

I know they're calling it The Defenders, and I can only guess that they're going to be facing off against the Hand or some other larger overall force. But it feels more like they're setting up Heroes for Hire.

I do think the 4 individual stories as going to start dovetailing nicely though, and kind of already have.

Luke Cage will go further into Claire's story. It will also introduce Misty Knight and probably Iron Fist.

I completely agree. I just have my doubts that they can keep the quality and continuity up with all the characters in this small "universe". Each season has been better than the one before, if you ask me, so i'll trust what they are doing. DD2>JJ>DD1.

just finished and I thought it was great. To me it was better than S1

The fight scenes were pretty awesome and Frank was fantastic.

I only have a couple of nit picks. I don't think I like Wilson as much as everyone else. I don't know why, cause I like D'nofrio. Maybe it's his voice in the show. I did like when he hammer fisted Frank like a Gorilla.

I'm fuzzy on the Elektra/Black Sky thing. The Hand crew bows down to her, but still fights her and DD. Can she boss them around or what? I don't read comics so I'm sure there's an answer for this.

When they resurrect her in the comics, she loses her soul and becomes evil.

The Defenders have had almost as many members as the Avengers. (I'll only include characters that Marvel Studios has the rights to)

Doctor Strange (founder)
Hulk (founder)
Clea
Black Knight
Valkyrie
Hawkeye
Daimon Hellstrom
Luke Cage
Daredevil
Yellowjacket (Pym, not Cross)
Patsy Walker (Hellcat)
Moon Knight
Captain Marvel
Spider-Man
Falcon
Iron Fist
Nova
White Tiger
Moondragon
Wasp
Black Panther
Gargoyle
Ghost Rider
Wonder Man
Captain America
Scarlet Witch
Vision
War Machine
Deathlok
She-Hulk
Black Cat
Ant-Man (Scott Lang)

My opinion: The Hand/Elektra/Stick story line felt rushed and empty, whenever it was on I coudn't wait for them to get back to the Punisher. Jon Bernthal was amazing. Stole every scene he was in. Great seeing Fisk back, who was even better than I remembered him from season 1. Elektra grew on me alot. She's an amazing character that was pulled off really well. Also, for all of the amazing fight sequences the show had, every now and then they give an angle of a punch that looks completely fake. Not sure how some of that was missed.

Overall I'd give the season an 8.5/10.

Just finished season 2 today. Great job all around. Wasn't sure they could top season 1 but it really was better. I liked seeing Matt try and juggle his day job with hero duties. Not sure if he ever sleeps more than 15 minutes.

I wish we saw more of him talking to the priest like on season one, I liked those scenes. Punisher was great and I agree a spinoff series of him would be better than Cage.

Fight scenes were almost perfect, glad he doesn't get his arse kicked like Oliver Queen on Arrow. Speaking of arrow I like the romance side better on DD, it seems more mature than the teen crap on CW shows. They act like adults instead of doe eyes kids.

Foggy gonna make $$ now and get with the blonde lawyer more. Not sure how Karen goes from secretary to investigative journalist and lead on a major article having never written anything. Would love for the editor to read her story and be like WTF is this?!

That was a head scratcher. I mean, for all he knew she could have turned in that article written in crayon.

The whole part Matt did when treating him as a hostile witness isn't how that works. He just testified directly to the jury at that point. No objections from DA on that?

Yea, that was laughable and drove me nuts. All he did was give his closing arguments.
