strains and bruises hurt much worse at first. I've torn my ACL twice and had a strain and meniscus bruise as well. Give me the tears

That bruise fricking sucked

It seems strange that the coaches would say that they think he'll be fine. They never release injury information. I wouldn't be surprised if we never see or hear about the MRI results.

He's probably getting it amputated since they came out so quickly to Baghdad Bob. The truth is pretty much the opposite of what info Les releases.

From what I hear, hes in class today with just a sleeve on the knee, MRI later today. So not as bad as initially thought.

Still hope for a speedy recovery regardless.

I'm not a source guy, but I heard from someone who I have reason to believe would know that it's just a sprain.

A sprain can mean torn ligaments. A "sprain" is not necessarily good news at all. A strain would be good news.

However, if there is a bright side if it is a torn ACL, recovery has gotten so much faster that he could return. That's why a number of programs start spring ball as early as possible.

With the advancement in surgery and rehab today, he could come back by October/November for sure.

For sure? Yeah no.

Yes, for real. While not football, have coached DI athletes in softball and one returned to action in four months and my most recent one tore ACL in late September and she's already been cleared to practice. It's quite possible that he could return by October if he did tear his ACL.

I didn't act like it's a foregone conclusion, thus the "IF" he did tear his ACL.

Exactly. Which is why these kids should bolt for the league as soon as is humanly possible.

Were they considering closing the campus due to Beckwith's injury? Makes sense.

His point is he would not be practicing without being paid.
