I'll reserve judgement until he starts to call the sports that matter.

I like him. He does a good job.

He sounds like Bob Eucker.

I like him. There will never be another Jim Hawthorne. There will never be another John Ferguson.

I hate that Jim is gone, but if that is what it took to get the fat boy, and his monotone voice off the air then it was worth it.

I really like the way he calls a baseball game but it's just tough that he will always lack being a fan from birth. Hawthorne had his faults but he was passionate about LSU and it will take Blair quite a while to get some LSU history under his belt.

He and Thompson have terrible chemistry and he routinely ignores Doug's attempts at banter. His voice is good though.

Hard to get used to a new guy. So many years of listening to Hawthorne. Will take a few years for him to develop a reputation

Patrick Wright has the better voice. Shame he wasn't picked.

He's very good and professional, but lacks the passion and emotion of a long time fan.

I like him. He has a good voice and gets excited when good things happen. When things are not going great he doesn't have the negativity that Hawthorne did. I love Hawthorne but he sounds so disgusted sometimes. He also constantly complained about the length of baseball games and some of the rules. I do wish Hanny was still doing color. He knows his stuff.

TBO it was hard to follow what was going on in the baseball game I listened to him do. For example one player hit a triple and he made it sound like barely a double

I'll wait until football, but like others said, professional, no tiger ties so he doesn't really have the passion.

Easy transition. Love his style. Glad I get a score on a regular basis and not going 3 innings without knowing who is winning and by how much. Best hire LSU has made in years.
