The freshmen showed great fight and resilience, Lange looked like he's been hitting the weights in the offseason he was consistently hitting 94 on Saturday. Freeman looks like a stud and Kramer won't survive Febuary at 2nd base of his bat doesn't heat up.

Why aren't you excited for the upcoming elite 8 run?

Poche has to exercise his 7th inning demons if we want to make a run

Why? Are #2 pitchers required to pitch through the 7th and 8th innings now?

Is this some kind of rhetorical question?

Then yes, a coach is going to expect his Friday night starter to give him atleast 7 innings without giving up 4 or more runs.

With our bullpen it really isn't necessary for our number 2 guy to go past 5 or 6 unless he's cruising. Anything past 6 innings is just a bonus imo

I was super excited about the basketball team after beating McNeese, Kennesaw State, and South Alabama too.

You guys must have not watched Poche pitch last season. He cruises for a couple innings then the wheels fall off. CPM isn't going to limit him to 5-6 innings a game so again, he is going to have to learn how to control the damage when things go bad.

I love this team, but they will struggle at the plate against SEC pitching. Not a knock. All young teams do.

You are way off base. If anything, Poche starts slow in the first inning and then settles in. Yeah around the 7th he hits a wall, but he certainly doesn't have the wheels fall off in the 4th. I have no idea what you're watching but it's not LSU baseball, son.

The way a team this young came through in the clutch on Friday night was incredibly impressive.

Don't forget, KRob had one of the do-or-die hits too.

Waiting on kramers bat to heat up is like waiting on Russel Shephard to throw a pass. Give up

I am pumped up too brother. To watch that young team battle Friday night was awesome. Early season games like that build character.
