Move Missouri and Vanderbilt to the West, move Alabama and Auburn to the East. Alabama plays Tennessee every year, Auburn plays Georgia every year. Alabama plays Auburn every year. Given the current playoff setup, SEC Champion will get in 99 times out of 100, so OOC games mean less now than ever.
Makes geographical sense and preserves traditional rivalries.... Too easy?

Just another reason the SEC HQ needs to be relocated from the Land of Gump. EVERYTHING they do is based on what's best for the state of Alabama and their beloved little Gumps.
The remaining states and universities are not equally represented. Look at the other current thread about the conference baseball tournament. It surely isn't located in Hoover for any reason other than it being in the SEC HQ backyard.
Cancel the contract with the Birmingham bowl. Move the HQ to another state. Fire the staff! Hire department heads for scheduling, officiating, compliance, and sanctions who aren't affiliated with the Gumps. Replace the testicle-looking idiot (Finebaum) on the SEC (Gump) Network.
It's hard to call this a conference when you don't play some teams for more than a decade.

I lived in Athens for a bit with some friends that were attending U.G.A. Did nothing but drink and party all night and play basketball all day. Great times! Bar scene was great and laid back. This was 20 years ago, not sure what it's like now. Game days were awesome. Except when they lost. Girls crying, guys looking for fights. We welcomed them both lol. Funny stories coming back to me!
