My daughter has been double dosing due to pharmacy error

I went to refill a liquid antibiotic for my daughter and the amounts remaining weren't making sense. When I questioned further, the CVS pharmacist realized that the doctor ordered 7 ml once a day and the pharmacy wrote 7 ml twice a day on the directions. So my daughter's been double dosing for 4 days now.
WTF. My daughter has been having pretty bad belly issues with the meds but antibiotics tend to do that. The pharmacy is basically saying no big deal since she's not having major reaction to it. F them for trying to downplay their mistake.

What day does your daughter's episode of Intervention air?

Not really a big deal if it's just an antibiotic.

what do you want them to say/do? Make you feel better if they said "we really fricked up"?
doesn't seem like double dosing for 4 days would be that big of a deal

She's going to be a pill-popper when she grows up...
So...I'll go ahead and call dibs now.

She'll be fine, just make sure to do a round of probiotics afterwards.

The only thing I'd consider is having the pharmacy cover the cost of the next scrip since you doubled up due to their error.

It is a big deal to me when my daughter has a primary immune deficiency as well as Ehlers danlos syndrome which I explained to the pharmacist. Her medical needs are difficult enough as it is without this.

Normally, I wouldn't think too much of it. I'd ask a few of my MD friends and if they assured me it wasn't that big of a deal, I'd go with their judgement.
That being said:
Would cause me to have a complete change in thought process. I'd probably talk to an attorney if they were that nonchalant about it. Not really to go forward with suit, but maybe have him write the pharmacy a letter spelling out their negligence, showing them that it is unacceptable, and that you're "considering" suit.
