Was this the worst performance by a Super Bowl QB?

Cam Newton was absolutely horrible. He brought nothing but turnovers tonight. I don't know if it was the worst performance ever but I think it ranks right up there.

Was this your first Super Bowl?

Did you watch Peyton vs Seattle?

Fwiw Manning wasn't much better

Cam was embarrassingly bad. His poor performance was only amplified by his complete lack of effort.

Dude there have been 49 other fricking super bowls. Not everything about this game is the best/worst.

People on this board are so fricking stupid.

His offensive line literally didn't show up.

Mike Remmers his RT has 2 holds, 2 false starts and the right side has 4 Sacks , 2 forced fumbles 1 for a TD
Cam deserves some blame but no QB could have survived that

16-38 for 245 yards, 1 INT and 2 fumbles
MVP numbers IMO

Rich Gannon threw 5 interceptions in Super Bowl 37

he is a choaker no doubt

Craig Morton and several others were worse.

Haha Cam was better than the guy who won the SB tonight

We get it. You live to hate Cam and your favorite phrase is "Auburn Panthers." Ignore the context of the actual game and continue your blind crusade, you pathetic bastard.

His numbers are very similar to Elway's numbers against the Packers in '97.
Elway 12-22, 123 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT
Manning 13-23, 141 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT
Elway 12-22, 123 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT
Manning 13-23, 141 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT

It's ok, use this as an opportunity to vent.

To me the passing yards don't matter. Cam means everything to his team. He makes big plays on the ground and we saw none of that tonight. He seemed scared and he quit on his team when he wouldn't go after that last fumble. Historically bad performance in my book.

He ran for more than his per game average....
