I'm happy for Peyton. I always thought I'd be conflicted if Cam and Peyton faced each other in the Super Bowl since they're both my favorite players in the league. In the end I rooted for Cam, but I'm glad Peyton got another ring so I'm ok with the result. Your shite just gets old, especially when you accuse others of piling on/bandwagoning and not showing up in losing threads when you're the exact kind of person doing things on the other side. I just don't like hypocrites.

That Denver D is just nasty. I thought maybe the game against New England a couple weeks ago was them playing out of their mind, but it's definitely legit. Cam's a big dude but he was taken to the woodshed tonight. You would be hard pressed to find any qb to have success against that pressure.

As bad as Cam was, it wasn't even in top 10 worst QB performances in a Super Bowl.

There have been some epicly bad ones, particularly in the blowout losses.

Craig Morton and several others were worse.

Fran Tarkenton was worse. THREE TIMES.

Craig Morton was the only QB to be taken out of a Super Bowl because they thought he might die out there.

He makes big plays on the ground and we saw none of that tonight.
It's amazing what people say when they don't even watch the game.

Fwiw Manning wasn't much better

This.

For a 'Sports Board' the people on here certainly seem to miss the obvious sometimes.

It's got to be up there, I can't remember a Super Bowl QB being worse than Manning. I'm sure there has been though back in the day.

Ya know.

I've become convinced that the typical fan is wholly unaware that the defense plays the game too.

I was backing Denver, but for crying out loud, can you people remember that just two weeks ago they made Brady look pedestrian?

They've made A LOT of QBs look pedestrian.

This shite ain't Madden. If the QB is under constant duress, their game is going to be affected.

Hell. Brady and the gang were UNSTOPPABLE their undefeated year that took a thud against the Giants. Then, suddenly, they bumped into a team that put constant up the middle pressure and viola', Brady couldn't do much.

They pay the defensive players too ya know.
