You can be a good crowd without having to incorporate basically "frick (insert whoever we're playing) into everything. It doesn't have to be a choir but there are kids at the games. It's ridiculous to think a crowd can't be daunting with including the frick chant.

He was. Went as far as basically blaming the loss on the chant.

But he's not wrong about how stupid it was. I'm more embarrassed that it's the most clever chant our students can come up with.

not at LSU, we have range from the misfit toys to we are packed and every other word is frick.

If we started to win consistently maybe that could change and it would be more like baseball. However, it might not considering the pace of basketball is much different than baseball. Baseball it is easy to be clean and loud.

I disagree. With our program, we shouldn't settle for anything less than the best fans. We need to strive for excellence - at least that's what I'm told by the C-students on this board who think Miles and Jones need to be fired. I say let's go all out. If we need to hold our programs to a certain standard of excellence, let's start where it's easiest. Let's start with the fans.

Here's some things to start with:

- Any student kicked out of a game for any reason gets his privilege to attend games revoked for the rest of the season.

- Reasons for being kicked out of games include public drunkenness, participating in chants using obscene references (e.g. shouting the F word at a coach or player), or throwing things.

- Certain egregious violations are grounds for further disciplinary actions such as permanent reprimand on the student's academic record or suspension/expulsion where appropriate.

I haven't read the current copy of LSU's Code of Student Conduct but what I just listed off the top of my head is probably not that far off.

I've said this numerous times before - try engaging in any of the behavior you are defending at a Chicago Bulls game. The ushers will eject you.

It's equally ridiculous to expect a student section to give one shite, much less two, about any children that might be at the games.

It'd be like taking your kid to Bourbon St and being surprised when they hear and see inappropriate things. If you can't handle explaining to your kids that they may hear and see things they shouldn't emulate, maybe you should just leave the kids home.

if we made fun of how buddy looks like a horse or how he is too stupid for the english language then OU fans would be threatening a hunger strike. frick you might be the safest chant considering how easy the midwest schools like ou and mizzou get offended.

And now he's eating it up and all proud about his melt talking about he's not the square of the group. Get outta here. I love Derek and Chesthair, but cannot stand Cullotta

If we're going to complain about the student section how about we at least do it right.

They tried to start a mother flucking overrated chant with like 15 minutes left.

That's why LSU lost.

They don't even have an emoticon for this ridiculousness.

And is it a coincidence professional atmospheres almost all universally suck?

They ripped us then too. I thought the media was going overboard back then but now I understand. I remember Feinswag wrote a whole article about it.

We aren't the most sophisticated fans. We aren't clever.

On a side note, I miss Neck. A good loud, "Suck that Tiger Dick, Bitch" could have been the difference in the game.

For anyone or everyone that is offended by the student section, get the frick over yourself. Kids will be kids.
