Was that a Springsteen original or did he cover it from someone else? I do love the 10KM version, but his is great as well.
That new Tigerlilly Redo thing is not good. I listened once and could not revisit it

I did not know this. I will look up the PS version. She was great

I think he and Smith wrote it together.

They did.
The new Natalie Merchant Tiny Desk concert is actually really good, by the way.

Explains its greatness.
Not to hijack the thread, but Patti Smith was legit. This songis the tits! Don't want to type the name due to the questionable word in it

Indeed. It's probably my least favorite song on the album though, which speaks to the strength of the album. Some of that is due to it being so overplayed in the early 90's. Still, it is a great rendition of it.

I will have to check out the "tiny desk" show. Those are cool.
And it's not inner feminine I'm in touch with. It's inner child. Even in the 90's when she was hipster hot. I joked with my friends that if I could take her home I'd just want a little stool at the corner of my bed. Don't need sex. She could sit there and sing me to sleep like a child. she still could. I'd buy her some vegan shite to eat. Just keep singing til she hears me snore.
