Who here works at one? And which one is it? FTR, I'm jealous and want your job. I need to know where I should apply next.

And yes, I'm basing my future job decision off of a shaving requirement. That's what us plant baws get to do .

Aloe assists you in shaving your face.

Am I doing this right?

Depends on the position at said plant...

I didn't want to shave my face at alllll. But I looked at it as a 50k bonus to have my face shaved, was an easy decision to take the job and shave my face

I visited a plant once.

I had a beard.

I had to sign a waiver that I had a beard "beard waiver" and that I am responsible for my own life because the mask would not be able to fit tightly to my face.

Never had to shave in nuclear plants. I'm in chemical plants now. Have to shave everyday. Don't have to shave in paper mills, but I'd rather not be in those nasty things again. Wish I could still do nuclear work, but too much traveling.

I've had a cactus for a couple years now. Very easy to keep alive and has never complained about my beard.

You want in operations or maintenance?

You're not going to find a place that will let their operators have a beard. There are some that let maintainence.

Not a plant job, but those of us working the outside wires for AT&T make pretty decent bank. And no beard requirements except absence of interwoven jewelry.
